Act/psat/sat phone calls?

i took a practice college test and i put my phone number and now these stupid test people keep calling and they wont stop!! i looked it up online/searched the number and it said it was a scam! my mom told me to threaten report them to some think like federal b something haha i forgot. did this ever happen to you when you took a act, psat, sat, etc, and will saying that make them stop calling?
