What would you do in this situation.and the steps you would take?

ok this is what happen..yesterday my fiance jose who his hispanic,was told by a medical office to go to the walkin or ER because he was having some problems with his leg.long story on that.basically he broke his right femur in half in 2005 and had a rod put in with screws and had 4 surgerys altogether to remove the hardware.last surgery was july 29,2009.now let me tell you this..jose does not have a SSN so he would use the walkin and ER for probs with his leg because he didnt have a reg dr...now he has a appt on dec 14 with physical medicine which is the same office that told him to go to er or walkin.so he went and called me shortly later to pick him up.i was like r u done already and he explained to me what happend.that the dr. just opened the door to the room came in shut the door and looked at jose and said to him what do you want!,I cant help you! and then jose being shocked told him o yea but you can send me a bill for 300.00 for doing nothing and then the dr. said to him i understand and then turned around and walked out the door.Thats when he called me to pick him back up..i have spoken to a patient advocate..and tried to speak with the supervisor of the walk in but to no avail.question is, is this a law suit.jose was not treated with respect nor dignity.he wasnt treated at all.the doctor did not even examine him..or look at his leg or even ask jose what the problem,reason for the visit.ect.nothing...just exactly what i told you above..although before the dr came in a nurse did take his vitals ect. and asked the basic info that they do before you actually see the doctor. this clinic that he went to has had problems before like a doctor recently resigned because of molesting a woman ually while she was sedated but she came out of sedation in the middle of what he was doing..although that has nothing to do with joses situation.so are there any suggestions on this.could we sue the clinic..if so could someone out there in this community please tell me the steps that we would have to take to pursue this issue..jose said he never has been treated this way by a professional and that he felt embarred,shocked and felt like crying all at the same time.jose is 26 years old.he is my fiance.thankyou in advance for any help.again please include step by step what we should do.i have no experience in lawsuits ect. and we really dont have alot of money.but im sure there are lawyers that work and then you pay them after you win.thanks again.i would also like to add that after this when i picked him up i took him to another clinic that is not affiliated with that clinic where he was treated right! but now jose is nervous and scared to go to other docters because he is afraid that they will treat him the same..like he said what if that doctor tell other doctors..and i also had to convince jose to go to the other clinic because he was really upset and embarred and afraid that they too would treat him badly.
