I am 15 and interested in pageants?

Hey! Well I have also decided to get into pageants as well. I am about your age. Well, prepare to be put down because many don't realize that it is a way to build self-esteem, make new friends, learn performance skills, and get noticed as a model. And some pageants actually teach good morals. The one that I will be entering supports Free the Children and the winner will be traveling and making a difference in society. I love it and I want to participate, no matter what others say! First, find pageants that are in your area. Then choose your favourite one. You might wanna make a few calls! :) Look for the pageants that don't only judge you on your looks. The pageant I'm entering, we have to write an essay and say a speech, I believe. It will help you develope good personality. Usually to enter the pageant, there is a fee which should not be a lot. My fee is $45. You will also have to invest in an evening gown and a swim suit, if that is part of your choice. Workshops also help you to prepare to participate in the pageant and it i important to know what is expected and how things are done. I suggest you do more research! Good luck!
