Right so ive got a whole movie on my pc....?

which i want to split into 10 min chapters for youtube.... ive tried this through windows movie maker and it totally the movie up.... how do i split the movie up into chapters? ive converted different chapters through my dvd ripper, but the chapters are way to short, the film is over 1 hour 30 mins long, and the movie has been broken into 32 chapters that like 3 mins each piece (i think) this is way to short for youtube, iwant them to be at least 10 mins a chapter, if i want to upload the whole movie! any advice???
