California Adventure's Ariel's grotto Restaurant???????

Hi!! later this month I will be visting California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort. Since it is my birthday, I have made plans to eat lunch at Ariel's grotto since I love the little mermaid and because I was dissapointed last time I went because I was not able to eat there. I made the reservation so it would be a birthday thing. Can someone tell me what they do for birthdays?? I think they give you cotton candy and Disney charecters come around right?? Thanks for any help given!!
