I like an ugly guy and dont no what to do!? Help?

this guy is so sweet to me hes my good friend he likes me, i think i like him too im not attracted to him i want to hu with him b/c of his personality i dont at the same time b/c of his looks.. we were sleeping the other day and cuddling and i was pretending to sleep and he was like rubbing my back and he kissed the back of my head it was cute and we made out later that night i like him but he cheated on his ex gf for 4 months and he went out with her for 7 i think he will cheat on me but we talked about it and he says he wolnt b/c he respects me and he didnt respect her and i kinda think he broke up with her because he likes me he is kinda a sl*ut but he hasnt madeout with anyone since he broke up with her except me the one time on friday he only borke up with his ex gf 3 weeks ago but idk it feels like forever so help tell me what to do i got no clue and i need real advice on what i should i had really bad past relationship experience if this ends badly i will be messed up forever
