It's a driver problem. One of the drivers of your computers devices is crashing and giving you a problem. Make sure you have downloaded all the latest drivers (and updated). if you have an outdated driver, this could happen. It could also occur if you have a driver that is not compatible with the device. There are lots of programs out there that can scan your computer and check to see if the latest drivers and drivers that are digitally signified. I have used those programs in the past. If you changed to Vista, perhaps Vista doesn't support the driver or the device?
