I'm scared--pl. help me?

i'm a 17+ yr old girl not a good student. my parents recently arrange a private tutor, little older than me. my parents instructed him to be very tough if i fail to do my h/w etc.---advise him punish me without hesitation. if i fail to answer a ques the guy forced me to standup on chair ,then hit me on my leg or on palm . i'm so scared of pain and also feel embarred . my parents beat me severely for a protest and unwillingness to learn from the guy of my age. pl advise how can i bear with this. i'm trying my best but it yeild little.
