Why do soldiers want to join the iraq war?

There is no war in Iraq. The combat missions there have ended as of earlier this year. To go on why we choose to serve our country and fight on foreign soil...say we decide to adopt some of the customs, courtesies and traditions of some of the men of different areas. Take that thing called domestic violence and forget about it. I could beat the **** out of whoever I made my wife. Literally, beat the **** out of her, her and put her to work in the field. I personally don't think that is a good way to live. Imagine being an eight year old girl watching all the boys go off to school, come back and talk about the interesting things they learned. You stayed at home and did chores. We give people a chance to have a better life, one that everyone here is afforded.
